Every year, many couples from all over the world travel to the Czech Republic for their prewedding photography in Prague. Prague is known all over the world for its gothic architecture and is often reffered to as the city of a hundred spires. Seeing the skyline of this old city makes it clear why it has deserved this nickname. With many old churches and belltowers, the skyline is truly impressive.
On this page you can find more information about my services as a prewedding photographer in Prague and other cities in Europe.
Prewedding photography in Prague
The city center of Prague, which was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in the 1990’s is best explored on foot as it has many narrow streets and cobble stoned alleyways. In the heart of the city center lies the beautiful Old Town Square. This square with gothic buildings all around is perfectly preserved and has everything you can expect from a square. During the day, the square is full of life with merchants, tourist and locals alike, all enjoying the many bars and restaurants on the square. The Astronomical Clock, which has an hourly show, draws the attention every hour on the hour. For a prewedding shoot, I like to take couples to this square early in the morning when there are only a few locals around and the beauty of the square can be enjoyed best.
Another highlight many couples want to include in their prewedding photos in Prague is the Charles Bridge. This beautiful pedestrian bridge, lined with statues of many saints is known all over the world and has something truly mystical early in the morning. With a bit of luck, we even get some of that mysterious fog, making the bridge extra dramatic. As we cross the Charles bridge, the final stop of a prewedding photoshoot in Prague is usually the Prague Castle. This old castle, perched on a hill across the old city center, is actually quite a big complex and feels like a village in its own. As you look out from the castle over this beautiful city, this is the perfect way to end a romantic prewedding photoshoot in Prague.
As you can see, Prague hosts a great variety of beautiful architecture that serves as a background for your prewedding or engagement photos. In the examples below you can see some of the places I described so you can get an idea of my style of photography and the places we can visit during a prewedding session.
European based prewedding photographer
My name is Dario Endara and I am a European based prewedding photographer. I have done prewedding photoshoots in many European places such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris and Santorini. The great thing about Europe is that many places are easily connected via train or plane, making it ideal to combine multiple cities in your European prewedding photography.
