When Tati and David contacted me asking me if I could shoot their wedding, I didn’t even think twice about it. I was more than happy to do it! It was well worth the trip to Miami to capture their big day. I’ve known Tati and David for quite a while now and they are amazing people and very talented. David is a graphic designer/illustrator with some impressive work and Tati is a talented artist known for her doe-eyed ladies.
Though they are both based in Brooklyn, the wedding was held in their hometown of Miami. The wedding venue was at the colorful Cuba Ocho restaurant/bar in the heart of Little Havana. The whole place is decorated with Latin art from the past century, with murals of famous Latin musicians and a beautiful Spanish courtyard. After the ceremony, we took advantage of the great weather and went out for a stroll through the Cuban neighborhood known for its friendly locals and popularspots like the Tower Theatre and Domino Park. Tati and David took a break and sat down with the locals to play a quick game of dominos before heading back to party…but not before stopping traffic.
