Elysa and Albert contacted me a while back because they were interested in a Keukenhof prewedding photoshoot. Their friends had been to the Netherlands and I happened to photograph them. I know…small world! When Elysa and Albert saw the photos, they were excited to visit the Netherlands too and decided that this is where they wanted to do their prewedding shoot.
Elysa and Albert wanted a combination of urban and nature, so we decided to combine the busy city of Amsterdam with the peaceful flower fields outside the city. We started in the streets of Amsterdam, walking around the narrow streets and enjoying the magnificent views of the bridges over the canals. After a couple of hours exploring the city, we made our way to the world’s most beautiful flower garden: the Keukenhof. This park, which only opens for 2 months out of the year when the tulips and other flowers bloom, is just stunning. The variety of colors and flowers is breathtaking and makes for a great photoshoot location. As the sun began to set, Elysa and Albert escaped hand in hand into the flower fields, finishing off this prewedding photoshoot in a sea full of yellow daffodils and purple/pink hyacinths. A perfect ending to a perfect day!
