The Greek islands are one of my favorite holiday destinations in the world. The architecture, the beaches and the beautiful weather make this place a great place to enjoy your vacation. Richard and Andrea felt the same way and decided to go on vacation in Santorini. Andrea is from Venezuela and Richard is from Italy but they both work in the airline industry, traveling all over the world and seeing some amazing places. They both fell in love with this island just as much as I did.
I met them in the town of Oia, Santorini where we started their love shoot. The village of Oia, with its iconic white and blue houses looks like it comes straight out of a postcard. There is not a single spot in town that doesn’t deserve to be photographed! We wandered through the streets of the village before we made it to our next location. Not too far from Oia, and all the way down to the beach, is the small village of Amoudi. This fishing harbour with a rocky coast has some spectacular views in all directions! We ended the shoot along the water as the sun was setting to capture some amazing lighting. I could call this a love shoot, but as it turns out, they got engaged not too long after the shoot. So I guess we can call this their engagement shoot! 😉 Richard and Andrea, congratulations and hope we meet again some day!
