Don and Phoebe contacted me a while back to capture their love shoot in Maastricht, a city in the south of the Netherlands. They’re both from the U.S. but are currently stationed in Germany for the military.  Since they’re planning to get married in 2024, they decided to do their engagement shoot somewhere in Europe, preferably close to where they live.  Through their search, they found the beautiful Dutch medieval city of Maastricht, one of the oldest in the country dating back from the 10^th century.  It’s the perfect backdrop for a romantic engagement shoot in the Netherlands.

We walked around the cobble stoned streets, passing by old traditional Dutch brick houses, fortified walls and squares that Maastricht is known for.  They had a great time and they were just being themselves as can be seen in the photos.  I always tell all my couples that if they forget about me and just enjoy a day out, their true selves will show in the photos.  And that was the case with Don and Phoebe.  They are so photogenic and so much in love that it made it easy for me to photograph them.
