When I met Ruth and Abi at their Amsterdam home, I instantly connected with them and loved their enthusiasm and sense of humor.  Ruth and Abi are both from the UK but living in the Netherlands for work, so they decided to have their “destination wedding” here in the Netherlands to include all their Dutch friends.  Their wedding took place at the enchanting Orangerie Elswout, in the beautiful Dutch countryside.

After both brides got ready in separate rooms, they headed outside where all their guests greeted them down the isle leading up to the entrance of Orangerie Elswout.  They read their own vows, sharing their journey they had been on to be together, complete with laughter and tears from everyone at the ceremony.  After all the congratulations they went outside to celebrate and enjoy the warm summer breeze, together with their bridesmaids and daughter.  While the guests enjoyed drinks and entertainment, Ruth and Abi took a walk in the surrounding forest to take it all in.  Their love for each other was beautiful to witness and as a photographer, to capture it all.
